Sallah: Saraki Urges Prayer for National Unity
Senator Abubakar Bukola CON representing kwara central has urged Nigerians to seize the opportunity of the experience of the just ended Ramadan to continue to pray and work towards the unity and peaceful coexistence of the country.
The former governor in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media,Mr Bamikole Omishore on Eid-el-fitri said this became necessary because of the trying period Nigeria is passing through.
The statement noted that every Nigerian has critical roles to play in getting the country out of her present predicament, stressing that outsiders cannot do it for us.
Senator Bukola Saraki in the statement also urged the people of kwara to remain one united family working towards a shared prosperity and shun any act that could cause dis-unity in the state.
It further called for the continuous cooperation with the administration of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed so as to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy and resist all those who will go to any length to attempt to derail the present administration.
