The Main Organising Committee (MOC) for the f 2017 National Youth Games is to hold its Technical meeting tomorrow, 16th March, 2017 at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Ilorin.

Delegates to the meeting are expected in Ilorin today, Wednesday, 15th March and will depart on Friday 17th March, 2017.

The meeting which will be attended by all Members of the Main Organising Committee as well as Directors of Sports from all States of the Federation will be chaired by the Chairman MOC and Ag. Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports, - Mr AbdulRasak Salau.

According to the Director of Grassroots Sports Development of the Ministry, Dr Ademola Are, the Parley is expected to deliberate on all technical issues needed to achieve a smooth operation, organization and success of the forthcoming Youth Games

The Ag Permanent Secretary will immediately after the meeting lead other delegates to pay a courtesy call on the Executive Governor of Kwara State-His Excellency, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed in his office at the Government House.

It would be recalled that the 3rd edition of National Youth Games with the Theme "we are the future" is scheduled to hold from 28th August - 8th September, 2017 at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin Kwara State.
