Late Saraki's political acumen will forever be missed - Kwara Speaker

As politicians in Kwara State today mark the 3rd anniversary of the ?late icon, Dr Abubakar Olusola Saraki, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Dr Ali Ahmad has stated that the political icon would forever be missed by all and sundry.

In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Shuaib Abdulkadir, Ahmad stressed that the leadership quality and style of the late political guru was unrivalled and this was attested to with the manner his death was received not only in Nigeria but across the globe 3 years ago.

He stressed that in the scheme of things in the country, the late Waziri of Ilorin never lag behind as successive administrations found him dependable and consulted him both in decision and policy making.

Especially now that the country is going through some challenges, Ahmad maintained that his advice and words of wisdom would have been beneficial and goes a long way in surmounting ?the problems.

?The Speaker added that his worth and values was much more realised after his demise, noting that till date political class across the country still rue his demise.

Ahmad however tasked politicians to emulate his political philosophy and lifestyle, stressing that such gesture would ensure they carry on with his legacy.

He prayed Allah to always be with the family left behind, the Senate President and entire Kwara as a whole.
