Kisra, in his address, remarked that Landmark University road was part of the state government's pledge to ensure all roads leading to institutions were motorable.

He urged the road users to avoid over-speeding and maintain zero level of accident to ensure safety of lives.

Kisra said, "The completion of this road project was to demonstrate our unflinching commitment to all round development social infrastructure across the state. It is also to bring the dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of our people.

"Besides, it is to redeem our pledge to make all roads leading to our higher institutions motorable.

"Having put this road in place, I urge you all to make best use of it. You are enjoined to avoid over speeding and sustain the zero level of accident on the road to the admiration of all.

"Similarly, you should endeavour to exercise patience on the road at all times, so as to protect the lives of the students who will constitute the major users of the road."

He remarked that the would ensure comfort and wellbeing of the citizenry as a responsible and responsive government.

At the commissioning of Eruku Koro road, Kisra explained that the road project was awarded in 2010 by the past administration, but it was completed by the present administration.

"Our commitment to the speeds execution and completion of the road was borne out of the fact that Koro community is a border town.

"Besides, it forms a central part of Ekiti Local Government, known for cultivation and production of both cash and food crops to enhance socio-economic transformation of the area in particular, and the state as a whole," he said.

According to him, "as an administration that is determined to secure its borders and promote agricultural development, we pursued the completion of Koro road with zeal, vigour and commitment."

In a chat with reporters, Senator representing Kwara South, Simeon Ajibola commended the present administration for the community and described its one year as a success.

Ajibola remarked that the state government believed in the grassroots development, urging the people of the community to support activities of the government and maintained peace for the good governance in the state.
