Kwara United beat Sokoto Utd 2-0
Lateef Adigun put the home side ahead through a spot kick in 55 minutes while Segun Alebiosu increased the tally in the 73rd minute to make it two for Kwara United. Four players of the team received awards for their efforts in the first of the National League. Adegbenro Samuel bagged the most player of the team while Adesina Gata won the youngest award. The highest goal award went to Segun Alebiosu.
The General Manager of the club, Alhaji Mohammed Haruna Maigidasanma bagged a honourary ward from the National Youth Council of Nigeria Kwara Chapter.
