Aviation College launches Kwara in world map - Buyo

The Chairman, Board of Directors of International Aviation College, Ilorin, Captain Edward Buyo has said that establishment of the college has launched Kwara State in the map of the world even as he described the college as first private flight training institute in Nigeria.

Buyo disclosed this when the members of the college Governing council paid courtesy visit to the state  Deputy Governor, Elder Peter Kisira, saying that the College had produced reputable pilots as it graduated first students.

Buyo disclosed that the college had concluded arrangement to commence Engineering training this year and called on the state government to integrate college curriculum with the state University (KWASU).

The leader of the team therefore solicited for state government for more aircrafts and other necessary facilities that will further enhance the performance of the college.

He particularly thanked the state government for expansion of facilities in the college which he said has gone a long way in making the college to stand on a good footing.

In his response, the state Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed who was represented by his Deputy, Elder Peter Kisira commended the management and staff of the college for excellent performance through laudable programmes and projections that enhance man power needs of the country.

The Governor gave kudos to the management of the college for making the state proud and assured them of cordial relationship between the college and the state government.

He therefore pledged the state government's continue support to the college, to enable the government achieve the purpose for which the college was established.
