Gov. Ahmed commiserates with Justice Akanbi
Governor Ahmed, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, described the death of Hajia Munfa’atu Akanbi as shocking and painful, especially when it is remembered that she was an amazon of the moral rectitude that the Mustapha Akanbi family represents in the annals of Nigeria’s contemporary history.
According to Ahmed: “Evidently, the high moral stand of Justice Akanbi over the years without breach is evidently traceable to the fact that he had a good supporting wife in Hajia Munfa’atu Aduke.
“That the children are also signposts of excellence in various fields of human endeavor also showed the good mother in Mama.”
Ahmed urged Justice Akanbi and the entire family to take solace in the fact that Mama has played her part in life judiciously and it was the will of Allah that she had to pass on at this time.
The governor beseeched Allah to grant her aljanat fridaous and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
