Ahmed drums support for Buhari

The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state central Nigeria, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed says the Presidential candidate of the Party, General Muhammadu Buhari will rescue Nigeria from various challenges if elected in the February 14 election.

Governor Ahmed stated this at Isanlu-Isin in Isin Local Government area of kwara State, during a campaign tour of the area.

According to him, the Retired General is on compliance mission to instil discipline on Nigerians to return the country to the path of progress and economic growth.

Governor Ahmed stressed that next month's elections were devoid of party affiliation, but hinged on the need to address the issues of economic challenges, insecurity and corruption.

He called on the people of Isin Local Government and the state at large to elect General Muhammadu Buhari, arguing that the present administration was froth with ineptitude and mismanagement of the nation's economy.

Collect Voter cards

At Ijara-Isin, Governor Ahmed urged the people of the area to collect and protect their Permanent voter cards (PVCs) to enable them exercise their civic responsibilities during the next month general elections.

He urged the people to ensure the victory of APC candidates in the elections, promising to do more in the areas of education, health care delivery and youth empowerment. 

Also speaking, the State Chairman of APC, Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani solicited the support of the people for all APC candidates to ensure their victory at all levels.

Endorsement

Meanwhile, the Isin traditional council endorsed the Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for second term in office.

The Chairman, Isin Traditional Council and Chief of Isanlu-Isin, Oba Solomon Olugbenga Oloyede made the endorsement on behalf of all traditional rulers in the area while receiving the All Progressives Congress Mandate 2015 Campaign Team led by the Governorship candidate of the party, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.  

Oba Oloyede who listed the achievements of the present administration in the area of roads construction, and equipping of health facilities commended the governor for keeping to the promise made to the people of Isin Local Government in 2011.

The Monarch described governor Ahmed as an honest and God fearing son of Kwara South and assured that the people of Isin would ensure the victory of APC at all levels.
