Date: 2015-01-21

The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state central Nigeria, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed says the Presidential candidate of the Party, General Muhammadu Buhari will rescue Nigeria from various challenges if elected in the February 14 election.

Governor Ahmed stated this at Isanlu-Isin in Isin Local Government area of kwara State, during a campaign tour of the area.

According to him, the Retired General is on compliance mission to instil discipline on Nigerians to return the country to the path of progress and economic growth.

Governor Ahmed stressed that next month's elections were devoid of party affiliation, but hinged on the need to address the issues of economic challenges, insecurity and corruption.

He called on the people of Isin Local Government and the state at large to elect General Muhammadu Buhari, arguing that the present administration was froth with ineptitude and mismanagement of the nation's economy.

Collect Voter cards

At Ijara-Isin, Governor Ahmed urged the people of the area to collect and protect their Permanent voter cards (PVCs) to enable them exercise their civic responsibilities during the next month general elections.

He urged the people to ensure the victory of APC candidates in the elections, promising to do more in the areas of education, health care delivery and youth empowerment.

Also speaking, the State Chairman of APC, Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani solicited the support of the people for all APC candidates to ensure their victory at all levels.
