Kwara ACN Charges PDP Defectors to be Resolute

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who defected to Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Ajase ward II in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have been asked to stay firm in their decision.

Chairman of ACN in the Local Government, Tunde Oyeyipo, made the charge when about 200 defecting PDP members were being welcome to the ACN at Agbonda town in the Local Government.

Oyeyipo, said the party is delighted by their decision and wholeheartedly welcome them to its fold.

He assured that if the party wins the local government election, the people in the area would witness a positive change.

One of the leaders of the defecting politicians who spoke at the occasion, Joshua Ojokolo, said they decided to join the ACN because they were convinced it would better attend to their welfare.

He assured that they would not backslide but enjoined the party to always carry them along.
