“It is the proper guarantee of lives and property that will ensure sustainable growth and development in the society. Governor Ahmed who had earlier called on the Nigeria Army to deploy its officers and men along the Kwara State-Benin Republic border and other border lines to assist other security agents in the prevention of influx of illegal immigrants into the State, commended the Nigerian Army for its role in the Mali crisis which he described as a reflection of Nigeria’s leadership role in the stability of the Continent.
While commending the 22 Brigade of the Nigerian Army Sobi for its prompt response to quelling the recent communal crisis between Offa and Erin-Ile communities, Dr. Ahmed assured the Army of his administration’s support within its limited resources.
