The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially rolled out its governorship campaign structure across the state's three senatorial districts, appointing political figures to direct operations in their respective zones.

In an official statement issued on Monday by the State Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Olawale Babatunde, the party signalled a decentralised campaign model designed to prioritise grassroots engagement and community-level outreach.

Rather than a single centralised command, the ruling party is deploying tested community leaders to manage regional dynamics directly.

For Kwara South, the campaign will be led by Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi (ENACT), a former TETFund Board of Trustees Member (North Central) and prominent APC senatorial aspirant. Adeyemi brings extensive community goodwill and organisational strategy to the Southern district. He will work alongside hospitality industry leader Chief Samuel Olu Alabi (the Oluomo of Erin Ile Kingdom), who serves as Deputy Director-General for the region.

Kwara Central will be headed by Alhaji AbdulRazaq Jiddah, Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties. Jiddah takes charge of the party's campaign engine in the Central district, joined by seasoned Asa Local Government grassroots politician Mrs. Dupe Yahaya as Deputy Director-General.

Kwara North will be anchored by Rt. Hon. Benjamin Yisa, who assumes responsibility as Director-General for the Northern territory. He will be deputised by Alhaji Ahmed Abbass.
