History will be made on Wednesday as the Olojoku of Ojoku Land in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State, His Royal Majesty Oba Abdulrazaq Afolabi Ojoku, receives a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Security and Conflict Management from Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin.

The academic achievement by the 74-year-old monarch further highlights his commitment to education, academic excellence and lifelong learning.

Throughout his distinguished career, Oba Afolabi has continued to pursue higher education, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in History from Bayero University, Kano.

He subsequently obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a Master in Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) from the University of Ilorin, before proceeding to Al-Hikmah University, where he earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil).

The attainment of his PhD marks another significant milestone in the monarch's impressive academic journey and serves as an example of the value of continuous learning regardless of age or status.

The achievement is also expected to inspire younger generations to pursue education and personal development at every stage of life.
