Summer Edition of Kwara Coding Programme Kicks Off Across Participating Schools
The Summer Edition of the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme officially commenced on Monday, August 3, 2026, across participating schools in Kwara State.
The six-week programme is designed to equip pupils and students with practical skills in coding, digital literacy and emerging technologies.
Activities began simultaneously in participating schools, where facilitators welcomed participants and introduced them to the programme's objectives, expectations and training curriculum.
According to the schedule, classes will hold every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon throughout the six-week programme.
Participants will receive training in coding, software development, artificial intelligence (AI), computational thinking, digital innovation and problem-solving skills.
The organisers encouraged participants to remain committed throughout the training to maximise the learning opportunities provided by the programme.
