The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has described the tenure of Professor Emeritus Is'haq Oloyede as Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as a remarkable period of transformational leadership and national service.

Professor Jimoh made the remarks following the completion of Professor Oloyede's second and final term as Registrar of JAMB.

The KWASU Vice-Chancellor commended Oloyede for implementing reforms that transformed the nation's tertiary admission process, particularly through the digitisation of examinations, the centralisation of admissions and the reduction of application fees for candidates.

According to him, these initiatives significantly improved the integrity, transparency and efficiency of JAMB's operations while strengthening public confidence in the Board.

Professor Jimoh noted that Oloyede's decade-long leadership left an enduring legacy, adding that his commitment to accountability and excellence earned widespread trust from stakeholders across Nigeria's education sector.

He prayed that Allah would continue to guide Professor Oloyede and grant him greater success in future endeavours as he concludes his service as JAMB Registrar.
