The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole (SAN), has commended the institution's outgoing Deans of Faculties and Directors of Centres for their dedication and contributions to the university during their respective tenures.

Professor Egbewole gave the commendation on Monday during an interactive session with the academic leaders, whose terms of office are scheduled to end on Friday, July 31, 2026.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed appreciation for their unwavering commitment, strategic leadership and the significant achievements recorded under their stewardship.

He also encouraged the outgoing administrators to remain accessible and share their institutional knowledge with their successors to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

Professor Egbewole noted that continuity and effective knowledge transfer are essential to sustaining the university's progress and maintaining its standards of excellence.

The University of Ilorin also expressed gratitude to the outgoing Deans and Directors for their meritorious service and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the institution.
