Kwara United Queens Commence Player Screening Exercise in Ilorin
Kwara United Queens Football Club officially began its player screening exercise on Monday, attracting a substantial turnout of aspiring footballers keen to secure a place in the team for upcoming competitions.
The trials, held at the KFA Pitch, form part of the club's strategic effort to identify and recruit talented players capable of strengthening the squad for future tournaments.
Over 50 participants attended on the opening day, showcasing their skills and determination to the club's coaching staff and technical officials. The exercise is scheduled to run for eight days, allowing for thorough assessment and selection.
Club officials expressed satisfaction with both the level of participation and the quality of play, noting that the process is designed to ensure only the best talent is chosen to represent Kwara United Queens.
At the conclusion of the trials, outstanding players will be shortlisted and integrated into the team as preparations intensify for forthcoming football engagements.
The initiative highlights the club's commitment to talent development and its drive to remain competitive on the domestic football scene, according to a statement from the State Sports Commission's press secretary.
