Lile Community in Patigi Issues SOS After Sightings of Over 40 Motorcycles Carrying Armed Men
Residents of Lile Community in Patigi Local Government Area (LGA) of Kwara State have issued an urgent call for security intervention following reports that a large group of suspected bandits was seen advancing towards the area.
In a statement released by the TYF Political Action Committee, the community stated that credible information from a neighbouring village indicated that more than 40 motorcycles, each carrying two to three armed men, were spotted moving in the direction of Lile.
The current location of the armed men is unknown, creating heightened fear and anxiety among residents.
The community appealed for the immediate deployment of security personnel to prevent a possible attack, safeguard lives and property, and restore public confidence.
They specifically urged the Kwara State Government, the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigerian Army, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and other relevant security agencies to act without delay.
