Ibrahim Yahaya's Long Range Strike Hands Kwara United 1-0 Win Over Katsina United
Kwara United interim head coach, Ashifat Suleiman, has set his sights on winning the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title after securing a narrow victory against Katsina United on Sunday.
Ibrahim Yahaya's long-range strike was enough to earn Kwara United a 1-0 win over Katsina United at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin.
Suleiman assured supporters that his team will not relent until they achieve their target for the season. "We won the FA Cup last season, and this season our focus is the league," Suleiman remarked, making clear the club's ambition.
Following the victory, Kwara United now occupy the 10th position on the NPFL table with 12 points.
The 2025 President Federation Cup champions will be up against Rangers in their next game in Enugu.
