Kwara State Launches Free Online Registration for 2025 Common Entrance Examination

Date: 2025-06-11

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has officially opened the online registration portal for the 2025 Common Entrance Examination into public junior secondary schools across the state. The initiative, fully funded by the Kwara State Government, underscores the administration’s commitment to providing free and inclusive education for all.

Registration runs from Wednesday 11 June to Monday 23 June 2025. Prospective pupils and their guardians are advised to visit the official placement portal at?https://placementexam.kwarastate.gov.ng?for comprehensive guidelines and step?by?step procedures.

“Both the registration and the placement examination are completely free of charge,” emphasised Peter Amogbonjaye, Press Secretary to the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.

All candidates must be registered via their current primary schools. Public institutions will receive direct access to the portal, while private schools are required to obtain clearance from the Ministry’s Quality Assurance Bureau before retrieving their login credentials.

To ensure a seamless process, a capacity?building workshop for head teachers of all public primary schools commenced on 11 June 2025. The training, organised by the Ministry, aims to equip school leaders with the necessary tools and insights to oversee the registration exercise effectively.

The date for the Common Entrance Examination itself will be announced in due course. The test will take place in designated public junior secondary schools across Kwara State.

In a firm reminder, the Ministry warned that any head teacher or official found to be imposing charges on pupils for registration or examinations would face stringent disciplinary measures under public service regulations.

Parents, guardians, and school administrators are encouraged to complete their registrations within the stipulated window and adhere strictly to the published guidelines. For further information, complaints, or assistance, stakeholders may contact the C2C helpline on 0706?897?7077 (SMS/WhatsApp) or email?c2c@kwarastate.gov.ng.
