Ogun and Kwara Set to Battle in National Sports Festival Football Final
Ogun State's football team has secured a place in the male category final of the ongoing National Sports Festival after defeating the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria 2-1 in a semifinal clash at Remo Stadium, Ikenne.
In the second semifinal, Kwara State edged past Kaduna State 1-0 to set up a final showdown with Ogun. The bronze medal match will feature Kaduna State and the Golden Eaglets.
The finals for both male and female categories will be held at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta on Tuesday, 27 May 2025.
