Kwara Governor Approves Promotions for Over 2,000 Civil Servants in 2023 Review
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the release of 2023 promotion letters to over 2,000 civil servants in the state.
The Permanent Secretary of the Kwara State Civil Service Commission, Hajia Kifayat Jimoh, announced the development today, 6th March 2025, in Ilorin, the state capital. She revealed that 2,094 out of 2,122 candidates who sat for the promotion examinations were successful, marking a significant step towards recognising meritorious performance in the public sector.
Governor AbdulRazaq's decision underscores his administration's commitment to rewarding competence and fostering career growth within the civil service, aligning with broader goals of enhancing governance and public service delivery.
She expressed the commission's appreciation to the state Governor for graciously approving the distribution of the promotion letters to the eligible civil servants.
Hajia Jimoh admonished the workers to rededicate themselves to service to achieve Government's objective of service delivery to the people of the State.
