Coach of Kwara United FC Samson Unuanel is glad to get a grade A friendly for his side, as they prepare for the next season of the Nigerian Premier League.

Kwara United will on Sunday take on fellow NPL campaigners Enugu Rangers in a pre- season friendly game in Ilorin.

Preparation

The former Enyimba FC coach said the friendly will help Kwara United know how far they are prepared for the new season of the league.

-It is not a competitive game, so there is nothing to gain, Unuanel told futaa.com.

-We just want to see what we’ve done so far, and to know how prepared we are for the new season.

Kwara finished 6th at the 2011/2012 NPL season, and the Ilorin side is set to improve on the performance when the new season get underway on February 16.
