ABS Ilorin FC Prepares for NNL Season with Seminar on Laws of the Game
The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Ilorin Football Club (ABS Ilorin FC) hosted a seminar on Tuesday, 3rd December 2024, to educate its players and officials on the laws of the game, as reported by BSNSports.com.ng.
The event, which took place at the main bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin, Kwara State, was aimed at preparing the team for the upcoming 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The seminar featured informative lectures by Afolabi Maroof, Kwara State Referee Training Officer, and Referee Emmanuel Kolawole, covering key aspects of the game, including the new amended rules, regulations, and best practices.
The seminar is part of the club's efforts to ensure that its players and officials are well-equipped with the knowledge of the game, which will enable them to perform optimally in the upcoming season.
According to the club's secretary, Funmilayo Owolabi, the seminar was designed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of the players, coaches, and officials.
This initiative ensures the team is well-prepared for the challenges of the new season.
