Kwara United Coach Sanni Reflects on Defeat, Cites Unlucky Loss Against Abia Warriors

Date: 2024-10-15

Daily Post reports that Kwara United head coach, Tunde Sanni, attributed their 1-0 loss to Abia Warriors to bad luck. The lone goal by Sunday Megwo secured victory for Abia Warriors in the matchday 6 fixture held at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

Coach Sanni expressed disappointment over the result but assured that his team will address the lapses identified during the game to improve future performances.

“We are very unlucky with the loss to Abia Warriors in the game,” Sanni stated in a post-match interview.

“We missed a lot of scoring chances which really reflected in the result.

“We will go back to the drawing board and improve in our next game.”

Kwara United will face Sunshine Stars in a midweek fixture on Wednesday.
