News report from Kwara State Government Facebook page indicates that the kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has extended his congratulations to Professor Nazmat Surajudeen-Bakinde on her recent appointment as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (USET) in The Gambia.

The Governor commended her appointment as a testament to the power of education, hard work, commitment, and integrity. He further emphasized that it highlights the importance of providing everyone, including the girl child, with access to quality education and opportunities.

“Her outstanding successes and strides in leadership positions do not come as a surprise, given the positive reviews she has received in the academics community over the years, including as the immediate past President of Offa Engineers,” according to the Governor.

Governor Abdulrazaq wishes the Offa-born Professor of electrical and electronics engineering a successful tenure as the USET's new leader in the Gambia.
