Commissioner for Business, Innovation & Tech. hosts KWACCIMA excos, assures of govt. support
The Kwara State Government has expressed irs commitments to the socio-economic development of the State through collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the State.
The State Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun, stated this when she received members of the Kwara State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) in her office on Tuesday.
ROYAL NEWS reports that the Commissioner enjoined KWACCIMA to devise strategies that will streamline their programs for the year in order to suit the State Government's Economic recovery plan for socio-economic development of the State.
She also highlighted the intention of the present administration on ease of doing business, creating job opportunities for teeming youths and women through the line-up programs of the government policy.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Mary Kemi Adeosun said that KWACCIMA is the most formidable of all business organizations in the state and that is the reason why their collaboration is imperative for the State Government to achieve her set goals.
In response, the newly elected president of KWACCIMA, Barrister. Mrs. Oluronke Adeyemi, who led other Executives to the Ministry commended the Kwara State Government under the able leadership of Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq (CON) for creating enabling environment for business to thrive in the State.
She explained that KWACCIMA is a vital link to the network of Small, Medium and Large Enterprises (MSLME) which form the backbone of the State economy and assured the State Government that KWACCIMA will support in achieving the State Government objectives.
Barrister Adeyemi prayed that His Excellency, Mallam abduRahman AbdulRasaq (CON) tenure shall be register into prosperity with glorious accomplishments.
