CNS Cup: Kwara battle Edo for final place

Team Kwara at the ongoing Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) U-14 Boys football competition have booked a place in the semi-final after their 3-1 victory over the Boys from Ekiti on Thursday.

Enugu also joined Kwara in the semi-finals when they defeated the state of Osun 3-0, while Kebbi thrashed Rivers State 3-1 in the last quarter-final match on Thursday.

Kwara will lock horns with Edo in the semi-finals pairing at 10 a.

while Enugu State will battle Kebbi State for a ticket to the final scheduled Sunday.

In the girls category, Kwara will slug it out with their Oyo State counterparts for a place in the final with Benue and Osun contesting for the other ticket.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the semi-final matches will go on simultaneously.
