The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has distributed special ambulances to General Hospitals in the State.

Presenting the ambulances to the benefiting General Hospitals in Ilorin, Governor AbdulRazq represented by the permanent secretary of the State Ministry of Health, Dr.Abubakar Ayinla said the ambulances would further strengthen the referral system of the State healthcare services.

He said the gesture was in fulfilment of the administrations electioneering promises.

Governor AbdulRazq also reiterated the resolve of his administration to fix the health system and uplift the standard of healthcare delivery services in the State.

He, however, advised the Chief Medical Directors (CMDs) of the benefiting General Hospitals to ensure that the ambulances were used for the specific purposes of rendering emergency and medical services in their respective localities.
