Covid-19: Kwara Repatriates Nineteen

Kwara State Government has repatriated another nineteen persons back to Sabon Birni in Sokoto State for violating the ban on interstate travel.

The nineteen persons were apprehended by security agents led by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC for violating the state government order.

The violators were earlier presented to the Deputy Governor and Chairman of Kwara State Technical Committee on COVID-19, Mr Kayode Alabi by the Commandant of Civil Defence in Kwara State, Mr Bello Ale at the Government House, Ilorin.

Kwara State Government had blamed influx of out of state visitors for the surge in COVID-19 cases and vowed to deal with anyone caught violating the interstate ban.
