Dogo Denies Eyeing Kwara Utd Job
ABS manager, Kabir Dogo said he is committed to the side campaign for the 2012/2013 NPL season.
Dogo secured his side's spot in the elite league on 48 points from 36 matches without kicking a ball on the last day against expelled side, Ocean Boys last season.
The ABS gaffer said his side are waiting for the management meeting this week to kick-start the programmes for the new season.
"I'm with ABS until told otherwise by the management board. I've not stopped being the coach of the club.
"The board is meeting this week and the outcome of their discussion will clearly define the direction, shape and format the new season will take.
"My players are young, I'm certain new offers will come for them, so we have to wait to resume to know the ones available before deciding on those to drop or retain.
"The decisions will wait until the outcome of the management meeting thereafter we would properly start activities for the new season," he told supersport.com.
On the alleged interest for the Kwara United coaching job, Dogo said he never applied for the Afonja Warriors' hot job.
"I never applied for the Kwara United job, I only learnt that some management persons gave my name to the screening committee for consideration.
"I didn't apply and that was how much I know about the Kwara United job.
"Like I said earlier, I'm the coach of ABS, at least for now, I don't know what will happen thereafter," he said.
