Kwara PDP Postpones Ward Congresses till Further Notice

The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed its rescheduled ward congresses till further notice.

The exercise, which was earlier scheduled for Saturday, 8 September, 2018 was moved to Monday, 10 September, but has now been postponed to a later date.

In a statement on Saturday evening, the State Publicity Secretary, Mr Tunde Ashaolu said that a new date for the congresses would be announced at the appropriate time. Ashaolu said the party regrets all inconveniences this new development might cause party members and stakeholders.

The party's spokesperson also solicited the continued cooperation and understanding of all party members, elders, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
