Road Repairs: Agbo-Oba Road to be Closed for a Month

Date: 2012-08-11

By Our Reporters

The Kwara State Road Maintenance Agency (KWARMA) is to commence work on the Agbo-Oba road in front of Aruka Hotel (Corper's lodge), Ilorin, beginning from Monday.

This is to find a permanent solution to the annual problem of potholes often experienced on the road.

Our reporter gathered that, the work which would involve construction of a screw culvert across the road would last four weeks. To this end, the road would be closed for traffic throughout the duration of the rehabilitation work.

Road users are expected to use alternative routes to their various destinations
