Atunwa offers free JAMB forms to constituents

Date: 2017-05-08

As part of his commitment to educational development, the lawmaker representing Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Razak Atunwa has given out free JAMB forms to 100 students in his constituents.

The week long exercise which ended with the closure of JAMB registration last Friday was designed to enable underprivileged candidates in his constituency register for the exam.

In a press statement issued by his media office, the lawmaker noted that the gesture is to relieve the financial burdens faced by underprivileged students and give them a salient opportunity to apply and study in any university of their choice in Nigeria.

"Education is primal to social development, peace and stability, progress and economic transformation globally; this is why we are giving underprivileged students this support, because when we have educated youths and populace, the constituency develops politically and economically" he said.

Atunwa urged all the beneficiaries to utilize this opportunity to launch themselves into institutions and courses of their choices. "I urge all the beneficiaries to read well in order to come out in flying results and qualify for admission into universities and courses of their choices" he added.

The lawmaker reinstated his commitment towards educational development in the constituency, noting that more of such developments will characterize his tenure as their representative.
