The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad has again reiterated his commitment to the propagation, growth and development of Islamic doctrines.

Ahmad who made the pledge at the launching of the newly published books by Sheikh Muhammad Soibul-Qur'an in Ilorin on Sunday stressed the importance of knowledge to the human existence.

The Speaker who facilitated the books' publishing outside the shores of the country noted that it is believed the books would have positive impact in spreading of Islamic knowledge.

He encouraged other scholars and clerics in Islam not to relent in Islamic propagation by conducting researches that would be of immense benefit to Muslims across the globe.

Earlier, the Proprietor, Darul-Qur'an for Islamic Training who also double as the books Author, Sheikh Muhammad Soibul-Qur'an said he was encouraged to further publish another set of books for the benefit of mankind.

While appreciating the financial and moral support of Dr. Ali Ahmad to the books' realisation advised other public office holders to emulate the Speaker's good gesture.

The Cleric described the Speaker as a worthy ambassador of Islam in politics and noted that he has never relented in supporting the religion's cause.
