Agaka: Four Suspects in Prison Over Murder

Four persons were yesterday remanded in prison by a Chief Magistrate's Court in Ilorin, Kwara State for alleged involvement in rioting and killing of one Muyideen Ibrahim. The suspects, Waheed Sanusi, Abdulwasiu Abdulganiyu, Moshood Jamiu and Abdulrasaq Musa were ordered to be remanded at Federal Prison, Oke-Kura by Magistrate G.M. Kamson.

The prosecution said upon investigation, it was revealed that the suspects were the notorious element behind killing and destruction of properties worth millions of naira at the community. The group according to the Prosecutor organized a carnival at Agaka area that resulted in a riot that led to killing of one Muyideen Ibrahim. The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the crime and the case adjourned to February 3.
