Kwara United new coach, John Sam Obuh will resume officially on Monday when he gets to Ilorin to formalise his move to the Harmony Warriors, an official has told SportingLife.

Obuh is on a second journey to Kwara United after he was named head coach on Tuesday through a press statement signed by the Kwara Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Bolakale Ayo. He was once with the team in 2009.

SportingLife was told that the former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles handler will leave for Ilorin over the weekend ahead of his meeting with the Kwara Government on Monday.

When SportingLife tried to speak with the former Enugu Rangers and Sharks coach, he declined to give an interview stressing that he would only speak after he gets to Ilorin on Monday.

Obuh has been given the enviable task of reviving Kwara United's fortunes who only last season got demoted to the lower league despite the financial support of the state government under the stewardship of Abdulfattah Ahmed.
