Police Nab 2 Ram Thieves In Ilorin

Two middle-aged men have been arrested by the Kwara State Police Command for allegedly stealing a ram at Kulende area of Ilorin. The accused, Bolaji Issa (32) and Abdullahi Yusuf (30), allegedly stole a ram that belong to one Nurudeen Yakubu.

It was gathered that the suspects were sighted on a bike with the ram before they were apprehended by residents in the area.

An eyewitness simply identified as Emmanuel, said that the owner of the ram tied it in front of his apartment before it was untied by the two suspected thieves.

"The ram was tied in front of the house of the owner before the it was stolen". The owner of the ram, Nurudeen said he bought the ram for Sallah celebration since August.

When contacted, the spokesman of the state Police Command, ASP Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the arrest of the two men. He said "two men, Bolaji Issa and Abdullahi Yusuf were arrested for stealing a ram at Kulende area.
