The party's olive branch is coming on the heels of reports rife in the media that Senator Gbemisola is reportedly planning to dump the PDP over alleged mistreatment and sidelining.

Dele Belgore was also allegedly accused of working against the candidature of the governorship candidate of the PDP, Senator Simeon Ajibola, who defeated him at the party's governorship primary last December.

Though they have both denied the allegations, some party stalwarts and supporters are reportedly sceptical of their denial.

Chairman of the APC in the state, Honourable Balogun Fulani, while speaking exclusively with our reporter on Friday in Ilorin said the party is open to all eligible Nigerians and would welcome those interested in joining the APC.

Balogun-Fulani said Gbemisola would be a good and quality addition to any party in the country and the APC would be delighted to have her and her supporters in its fold provided they are ready to abide by the constitution, rules and regulations guiding the party.

He said APC as a party kicks against discrimination in any form, adding that "We don't discriminate against any member of our party once they have joined our fold, they are entitled to all privileges accrual to members; they don't even need to apply for waiver before they can stand for elections" He added.

He said in line with party supremacy, all members must abide by the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of party and its members, adding that the party is a well structured party, where nobody takes unilateral decision.

"Provided they are ready to abide by the rules and regulations of the party, obey and respect constituted authority, we will welcome them with open hands.

"We will be glad to have the likes of Gbemisola Saraki, Dele Belgore and their likes in our fold if they want to come to us", he submitted.
