Only a medical stands between Kwara United duo of Philemon Daniel and Gbenga Arokoyo from teaming up with South Africa’s Supersport United.

“Supersport have concluded on the transfers of both players with Kwara United for Daniel and Kwara Football Academy for Arokoyo. What is now left is for the players to come down to Johannesburg for their medical,” a top source revealed.

An agent was in Nigeria to finalise an agreement with both Kwara United and the Kwara Football Academy as regards the transfer of the players.

Both defensive midfielder Daniel and central defender Arokoyo starred for Nigeria at the recent African Youth Championship.

Daniel was solid and Arokoyo steady in the heart of the back four as the Flying Eagles regained the AYC crown.
