Father, Son Die In Ilorin Auto Crash
The man, who was identified as Mamanu Ayinla and his son, Muritala, were riding on a motorbike when the incident occurred at about 9am on the ill-fated day. According to an eyewitness, the motorcycle conveying the victims lost control and rammed into an oncoming pickup van.
He said the deceased hit the moving pickup with his motorcycle and swerved off the lane after which he had an head-on-collision with the oncoming commercial bus.
The son, Muritala Ayinla was said to have died on the spot and his corpse was reportedly deposited at Ilorin General Hospital, while his father, was reportedly taken to Ayodele clinic, Oloje. It was gathered that late Ayinla, was later referred to Ilorin General Hospital where he was reportedly confirmed dead the following day.
