The  management which is headed by Dr (Mrs) Jetawo Winters as Director General, has Dr (Mrs) Zainab Funmilayo Ambali, Director Medical Services, Dr Samuel  Adeyemi, Director Pharmacy and Allied Staff Matters and Alhaji Muazu Idris  Director of Nursing Matters as members.

Others  are representative of the Head of Service; representative from the office  of the Secretary to the State Government and representative of the Nigerian members among others.

Speaking at the event  held at state ministry of health, the state commissioner for  health Alhaji Abdul Kayode Issa explained that the inauguration is  aim to create awareness to the people about the

establishment of the bureau

He said the Hospital management bureau was established  last year August to perform many functions which includes maintenance of comprehensive personnel record of all staff, handling welfare of all

staff of hospitals under its jurisdiction, carryout posting and deployment of staff as at when due among others.

Issa  noted that the Bureau will have to develop a high sense of responsibility in handling the hospitals under its jurisdiction .

” The ability to maintain, protect and sustain the Hospitals will go along  way to guarantee a sustainable Health Care Delivery System in the state.”  he said.

In her acceptance speech, the Dierctor General  of the Bureau Dr (Mrs) Jetawo Winter promised to work  to improve efficiency and maximize productivity by using all resources both human and material.

WInter added that the management has been charged with the task  of exemplifying operations in the state hospitals.

” Our focus remains centered on every patient and all that is necessary to improve his or her health status.” She said

She assured the state government that they will systematically work through problems and challenges that impeded smooth and efficient operations in hospitals.
