SNG threatens FG over Saraki's 'ill treatment'
The International Institute for Humanitarian and Environmental Law has expressed support to the planned protest by the Save Nigeria Group (SNG) over the implementation of the fuel subsidy probe report.
Registrar of the group, Cyprain Edward-Ekpo, stated this yesterday in Abuja at a press conference. The institute called on Nigerians to resist attempts to bury the fuel subsidy probe report.
The Pastor Tunde Bakare-led SNG had issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to implement the report of the House of Representatives committee on fuel subsidy regime or face protest.
The group has also threatened to sue the Federal Government over the alleged ill treatment meted out to Senator Bukola Saraki by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police in connection with a N10 billion loan with the defunct Intercontinental Bank PLC.
