He added that the deceased will always be remembered for his uprightness, commitment and dedication to nation-building which made him stand-out among his contemporaries during his days in service.

The group stated this in his condolence message signed by the Spokesperson of the Association, Comrade Olusegun George Olushola, describing Late Engr. Awoniyi as an astute and committed member of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) whose virtuous and outstanding qualities has further added glamour to the political centre stage.

He however condoled with the immediate family of the deceased, the Oro-Ago community, the people of Irepodun local government area and the entire people of Kwara State urging them to find solace in the fact that Late Engr. Awoniyi lived a fulfilled life worth emulation.

The Igbomina chieftain therefore prayed God to grant him eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
