Kwara gov hailed over peace in Ganmo community

Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed has been commended for the role he played to end hostilities in Ganmo community of Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.

The community was last year engulfed in a communal clash leading to loss of lives and property.

A Ganmo community leader, Alhaji AbdulKareem Olola Kasum, said the cessation of hostilities in Ganmo was one of the remarkable achievements of Governor Ahmed.

He said: "Governor Ahmed deserves a big pat on the back for the role he played in tackling hostilities between the warring factions. Today, absolute peace has returned to Ganmo community."

He hailed the decision of the administration to locate the step-down power transmission station in Ganmo community.
