Ahmed to unveil first Kwara sports summit logo Tuesday - Popoola

The Kwara State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Prince Saheed Popoola, on Friday in Ilorin said Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed would on Tuesday unveiled the first Sports Summit logo in Ilorin.

Popoola said all hands are now on deck to host a Sports Summit that would return the state back to its sporting good old days.

The commissioner disclosed that there will be a youth carnival on the twenty third of September, while the event proper takes place on the twenty fourth with the dinner scheduled to hold on the twenty fifth at the Banquet Hall of the Government House.

Popoola reiterated the state government's commitment to sports development, adding that the summit would help bring the good old sporting days back to the state.

According to him, one of the aims of the summit is to source for funds to provide facilities for athletes to activate their potentials.
