'Madmen' arrested at Ilorin airport
Two well dressed men said to be insane wandering at the departure building of Ilorin International Airport have been arrested.
They were however later released to their different families after confirming that they were mentally ill.
Police sources at the airport said though the men who looked well kep,t on interrogation, they were incoherent in speech which raised suspicions that they might not be in good state of mind.
The men, Segun Odeyemi and Ahmed Alabi were differently arrested at the Overland counter inside the departure hall and the corridor of building respectively.
They wre conducting themselves in the most 'suspicious manner' it was alleged.
They were first arrested by the aviation security personnel before handing them to the airport police division for interrogation.
At the police station the men were reported to have told the police to have been instructed by a spirit to move to airport and board an airplane.
The two men were however found to hail from 0sun State.
Airport Police Officer, ASP Abu Idris, who confirmed the incident, said the men had been released to their respective families.
