The Commissioner of Police (CP), Kwara State Command, Mr Ambrose Aisabo, has assured political parties in the state that he would be fair and professional in the discharge of his duties.

A statement by the Kwara All Progressives Congress (APC) Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Sulyman Buhari, in Ilorin said Aisabo gave the assurance when he received Kwara APC executive members who paid him a courtesy visit.

The statement said the APC chieftains were led by the APC Kwara chairman, Alhaji Balogun Fulani, at his office on Thursday.

The statement said the police chief commended the state chapter of the APC for its orderliness in the conduct of its activities, particularly the conduct of party its congresses in Kwara.

He urged the leadership of political parties in the state to ensure that their members were always law--biding.

Earlier, the statement said Fulani had told the Police Commissioner that APC is a peace-loving political party as demonstrated in all of its activities in the state."

He assured the commissioner that APC members in the state would continue to be law-abiding. (NAN)
