Kwara United FC of Ilorin have planned to crush Spotlight of Katsina in Ilorin today as both teams file out for week 12 of the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The Chief Coach of the Afonja Warriors, Ali Zubair in Ilorin on Thursday said though the club is upset by the outcome of week 11 encounter against Plateau United in Jos last Saturday, they have put the match behind them. According to him, the Afonja Warriors are ready to quench the light of their opponent from Katsina.

The Chief Coach added that his players have been told to forget what happened in Jos in Week 11 and focus on the match against Spotlight.

Ali praised his players for their high level of maturity shown against Plateau United and demanded same from them as they face a team above them on the log after week 11 matches.

The fitness coach of the team, Rasheed Badmus, however said that no amount of pressure would make the team shift their attention away from the dream of returning to the Premier League.

He expressed confidence in the calibre of players the technical crew has put together to get the team one of the promotion tickets.
Badmus urged the players to justify the confidence reposed in them by the technical crew led by Samson Unuanel.
