Rainstorm renders Offa and Oyun LG communities homeless
Many people in Offa and Oyun Local Government areas of Kwara State have been rendered homeless by rainstorm that hit the communities in the areas on Tuesday.
The rainstorm, apart from blowing off roofs of residential buildings and shops also fell down electricity poles making people of the affected communities to live without electricity since Tuesday.
No life has however been reported lost to the storm which affected Afelele and Adeleke in Offa and Ijagbo in Oyun.
The affected communities have however called on the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Kwara State government to come to their aid.
