Ilorin: KWASU students protest
Students of Kwara State University, Malete, this morning demonstrated peacefully on Ahmadu Bello Way, Ilorin. They were protesting the University's decision to prevent over 300 of them from writing their forthcoming examinations for neither paying their schools nor completing registration on schedule. The students who were on their way to government house to plead with Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed to make the University rescind her decision were peacefully turned back by policemen from the state's police headquarters.
